You can search by an exact age, not an age bracket
Type a single age into the opportunity filters and the list rebuilds around what that exact age is allowed to do.
Most volunteer listings sort people into "youth" or "adult," which tells a parent nothing. Volunteer Clinton County stores the real minimum age each organization set, so entering 12, 14, or 16 shows only what fits. It does not change what any organization requires, and a checkbox beside it adds chances a younger volunteer can take with a guardian along.
Who this is for: Parents, grandparents, and students under 18 who keep hitting "must be 18 or older."

On the opportunities page, open the filters and find the group headed "Volunteer age."

Use an age chip or type any number into the box labeled "Your age."
You'll know it worked when: The result count drops and every card left is one that age can join.
Watch out for: Some listings set a maximum age too. Entering 70 will hide anything capped below that, which is working as intended.
What this doesn't do: It does not check anyone's age or ask for a birthdate. Nothing is stored.
Some organizations accept volunteers as young as 12, and some accept younger volunteers when a parent or guardian comes along. Enter the age in the "Your age" filter on the opportunities page to see which ones.
