Volunteer Clinton County·May 12, 2026
A guide to donation drop-off sites in Clinton County, PA — food pantries, coat drives, shelters, and more.
Clinton County has dozens of organizations that accept donated goods, and knowing where to bring what makes the process a lot easier.
FOOD
The New Love Center at 15 W Main St in Lock Haven accepts non-perishable food donations Monday through Friday. Priority items include canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans), cooking oil, pasta, and breakfast items. The First Methodist food pantry at 260 E Water St also accepts food donations during office hours. Call ahead for large quantities.
CLOTHING AND COATS
The Salvation Army on W Main St is the most consistent year-round clothing collection site in Lock Haven. For the annual county coat drive (November through December), collection bins appear at Ross Library, First Methodist, Avis Fire Hall, Mill Hall Borough Office, LHU Bentley Hall, the Renovo Community Coalition, and Downtown Lock Haven office.
BEDDING AND HOUSEHOLD
First Methodist accepts clean twin sheet sets, blankets, and towels for emergency housing assistance. The New Love Center also accepts gently used household goods. Call to confirm current needs before donating, as storage space is limited.
PET SUPPLIES
The SPCA shelter at 1 Hogan Blvd accepts unopened dry dog and cat food, as well as gently used towels and blankets for animal use. PAWS Humane Society also accepts pet supply donations.
BOOKS
Ross Library accepts children's picture books and early readers for their Little Free Library network. Conditions: good physical shape, no missing pages, published within the last 15 years.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
In summer (July-August), LHU Service Council coordinates the Back to School supply drive, accepting backpacks, notebooks, pencils, folders, and related items at the Bentley Hall table.
